Huawei Mate 60 Pro Unboxing Video
In a surprising move, Huawei directly released the Mate 60 Pro on their official website, while simultaneously opening the Huawei Mall for customers to experience the device in advance. This led to the uncovering of unboxing and hands-on videos of the Huawei Mate 60 Pro circulating on social networks.
The Huawei Mate 60 Pro unboxing video shows that the device comes packaged in black with golden text detailing the model information. The back cover of the device showcases a personalized splicing process, with the lower part of the metal extending into the integrated design of the middle frame. Upon closer inspection, the other half is crafted from either leather or glass material, depending on the chosen color.
The lens module of the Huawei Mate 60 Pro is slightly raised, housing three lenses symmetrically arranged in a circular row. At the center is the Huawei imaging brand “XMAGE” logo. Overall, the lens module boasts a simple and elegant design, which should provide an excellent grip on the back cover.
Turning to the front of the Huawei Mate 60 Pro, we find a unique three-punch-hole design, accommodating the front camera, a 3D depth sensor, and hardware-level components for face unlock. Visually, the device features an ultra-narrow bezel design.
Huawei Mate 60 Pro AnTuTu Benchmark of Kirin 9000s and Specifications
The official specifications of the device were released in advance, and we covered them in a previous report. The remaining mystery of the processor was also unveiled through real-life photos shared by bloggers.

Reportedly, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro is equipped with the Kirin 9000s chipset. Yes, Kirin is back, but the question remains: will it be competitive? Let’s find out. The Huawei Kirin 9000s is equipped with one ARM Cortex-A72 (or A78AE?) clocked at 2.62 GHz, three Cortex-A72 (or A78AE?) cores clocked at 2.15 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.53 GHz. The self-developed Maleoon-910 GPU operates at a clock speed of 750 MHz.
In terms of performance, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro with the Kirin 9000s chipset achieved a score of 692,428 points on the AnTuTu Benchmark. This score is divided into CPU, MEM, and UX components, which reached 275,547, 225,031, and 191,850 points respectively.

It’s important to note that the GPU score is not included, possibly due to the new GPU not being present in the AnTuTu Benchmark data. Including the GPU score, we can expect a combined score of 1 million points on the AnTuTu Benchmark.
The Huawei Mate 60 Pro boasts a concentric design, drawing inspiration from the grandeur of mountains and rivers. It is available in four color schemes: green, silver, purple, and black. The earthy color palette contributes to a unique visual aesthetic.

Huawei has made yet another breakthrough in the realm of satellite communications, with the Mate 60 Pro becoming the world’s first smartphone to support satellite calls for the general public. This feature allows users to comfortably make and receive satellite phone calls even in areas without terrestrial network signals, ensuring constant connectivity.
Following the successful launch of the ultra-reliable Kunlun Glass last year, which addressed a core consumer concern, the Mate 60 Pro introduces the second generation of Kunlun Glass. This version offers a 1-fold increase in drop resistance. Additionally, the innovative Ultra-Reliable Xuanwu Architecture provides comprehensive protection from multiple angles.
