In an unexpected move, Huawei has officially introduced its latest smartphone, the Huawei Mate60 Pro. With no fanfare or promotional activities, the device was quietly listed on the official website, complete with its price, specifications, and all marketing materials. Simultaneously, pre-sales for the device have also begun. The Huawei Mate60 Pro comes in a single variant – 12GB RAM with 512GB of storage, priced at 6,999 yuan (currently available).
This premium offering boasts a 6.82-inch double-curved OLED display with a resolution of 2720 × 1260. The screen is capable of displaying 1.07 billion colors within the P3 wide color gamut, and it supports an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. A high-frequency PWM dimming at 1440Hz and a touch sampling rate of 300Hz contribute to the display’s visual smoothness and responsiveness.
The device’s front panel is adorned with a unique three-punch hole design for the front-facing cameras, deviating from the traditional notch design. Although distinct in appearance, this design choice remains functional and intriguing. Update: Huawei Mate 60 Pro is equipped with Kirin 9000s processor with 8 core CPU of one 2.62Ghz, three 2.15GHz and four 1.53GHz. The GPU is self developed Maleoon 910 with frequency of 308MHz-750MHz. Note: Still varification needed.
