The Huawei Mate 40/Pro series has been ramping up manufacturing and critical debugging recently, and this time around, the Huawei Mate 40 series will be in multiple areas significantly upgraded with unique features.

Mate 40 series will be significantly upgraded in multiple areas this time around, from product performance, 5G capability, system optimization, ID design, and other unique features. The Huawei Mate 40 series is expected to launch globally around late September with the new Kirin flagship processor.

According to previous leaks, the flagship Mate 40 Pro could also feature a bang screen design and support face recognition. The display will feature a waterfall screen design that will continue the P40 series’s screen specifications – 1200p+ resolution and 90Hz or higher refresh rate.

The Mate 40 series is also expected to be one of the first to feature the Kirin 1020 processor. The operating system will be EMUI 11, and the highly anticipated Hongmeng OS will not be used in smartphones yet, but it is said to be equipped with the new smartwatch Mate Watch.
