Vivo Android 12 Beta Version Rollout Timeline
After the official announcement of Google’s Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and officially released the latest version of the Android 12 major update, manufacturers started to adopt the same.
For the global market, Vivo also working on Funtouch OS based on Android 12. Today, Vivo Android 12 beta version rollout timeline was shared, in which Vivo X70 Pro+ will get the Android 12 beta version first starting at end of November 2021. Below is the timeline of the roll-out plan and the Beta Version will be released on a batch-by-batch basis.

- Starting by End Nov: 2021 X70 Pro+
- Starting by End Dec 2021: X60 Pro+, X60 Pro, X60, V21 & Y72 5G
- Starting by End Jan 2022: X70 Pro, V21e, V20 2021, V20, Y21, Y51A & Y31
- Starting by End Mar 2022: X50 Pro, X50, V20 Pro, V20 SE, Y33s, Y20G, Y53s & Y12s
- Starting by Early Apr 2022: S1 & Y19
- Starting by End Apr 2022: V17 Pro, V17, S1 Pro, Y73, Y51, Y20, Y20i & Y30
Besides the global version with Funtouch OS, Vivo is also working on OriginOS 2.0 for mainland. According to the Digital Chat Station, OriginOS 2.0 will not wait long. It is developed based on Android 12 but there are also 11 underlying test machines. Parallel world dual desktop integration, easier to use, adapt to more global free windows, more operable widgets, etc. The test progress of the Snapdragon 888 model is still ok.
