OPPO Watch 2 Introduction
In today’s afternoon, OPPO held an online new product launch, officially bringing a new smartwatch product OPPO Watch 2 Series. This OPPO Watch 2 Series has three products, respectively OPPO Watch 2 46mm (eSIM), OPPO Watch 2 42mm (eSIM), and OPPO Watch 2 42mm. As the name implies, the first two products have different dial sizes, but they all support eSIM, while the last one has a 42mm dial and only supports Bluetooth connection with cell phones. Both fully intelligent and long life, while in the application of ecological and health sports field comprehensive upgrade.
In terms of a specific size, the 46mm version has a screen size of 1.91 inches with a resolution of 402 × 476, and the 42mm version has a size of 1.75 inches with a resolution of 372 × 430. The screen material is AMOLED with a refresh rate of 60Hz and the whole series has a high PPI of 326 and 100% DCI-P3.
The strap joins the groove design and upgrades the wearing style, convenient and comfortable, the charger also becomes a split design, convenient to carry.
The OPPO Watch 2 series has over 100 cool dials, and AI Matching Dial 2.0 adds textures such as dots, stripes, and zebras to create 135 static patterns and over 20 dynamic patterns. The light-painted dials allow users to create their own, with nearly 100 light-painting strokes to choose from.
The processor on the three watches uses Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 + Apollo 4s dual-chip design, where Apollo 4s is the latest product jointly developed by OPPO and Ambiq, which not only has excellent power performance but also has Cortex M4 processor design, which brings stronger performance, faster response time and smoother screen display.
The two chips can automatically switch according to the actual usage in full smart mode, usually running low-power RTOS and switching to Android when opening applications, which can bring up to 4 days of battery life. In light smart mode, the watch can still measure blood oxygen, heart rate, exercise, and read information, and the theoretical battery life can reach 16 days.
OPPO Watch 2 series are equipped with the new ColorOS Watch 2.0, which inherits the advantage of smoothness, and the operation is very easy to follow, while significantly improving the interaction experience, sliding, clicking, and application launching are stable and silky, and playability is also high. The memory capacity of the three watches is the same, 1GB RAM + 8GB ROM combination, to ensure the smoothness of use.
The battery capacity is 510mAh for the 46mm dial model and 360mAh for the other two 42mm dial models, which comes with a removable magnetic charging dock and supports VOOC flash charging for a full day with 10 minutes of charging.
The dial is made of aluminum alloy, and the 46mm version is available in Platinum Black and Star Blue, the 42mm version is available in Platinum Black and Orange Gold, and the 42mm Bluetooth version is only available in Platinum Black.
In the application ecology level, OPPO Watch 2 46mm (eSIM) and OPPO Watch 42mm (eSIM) support independent eSIM function, which can realize one multi-terminal + one single terminal call forwarding, not only can receive phone calls and information, but also can access the Internet and download applications, and there are multi-functional NFC applications, which can brush the bus, brush the subway, open the door and offline payment.
OPPO Watch 2 series also built-in professional motion sensors including three-axis acceleration, gyroscope, geomagnetic, air pressure, optical heart rate sensor, etc., can achieve more comprehensive sports monitoring. It supports more than 100 kinds of sports monitoring such as swimming, badminton, and tennis, and specially developed automatic monitoring function for 6 common sports such as running, walking, cycling, swimming, elliptical machine, and rowing machine, etc.
The watch can automatically recognize that the user is doing these sports and prompt the user to turn on the monitoring. At the same time, users can also customize the device page of the Health App to add sports heart rate, pace, and other data to meet everyone’s different sports preferences.
OPPO Watch 2 series introduces blood oxygen monitoring, sleep monitoring, snoring risk assessment, heart rate monitoring, pressure monitoring, and other functions.
