Vivo X100 and X100 Pro Differences
Following the highly anticipated reveal of the Vivo X100 Pro‘s design, Vivo has now disclosed official renderings of the standard edition, the Vivo X100, showcasing a remarkable similarity in appearance and color options: Blue, Orange, White, and Black.

While the X100 and X100 Pro share an identical exterior design, color palette, and camera housing, keen observers have noted several noticeable differences between the Vivo 100 and X100 Pro.
The most striking variance lies in the design of the camera lenses. The Vivo X100 standard edition features a periscope telephoto lens in the conventional rectangular shape, whereas the Pro version incorporates a design where all lenses, including the periscope lens, sport a circular shape.

Another significant discrepancy emerges from the engraved camera specifications on the housing. The X100 standard version proudly displays “VARIO TESSAR” with an aperture ranging from 1.57-2.57 and a focal length of 15-70mm. Meanwhile, the X100 Pro version showcases the industry’s first “VARIO-APO SONNAR,” offering an aperture spanning 1.75-2.5 and a focal length extending from 15-100mm.
Vivo, in collaboration with Zeiss, is jointly releasing the pioneering ZEISS Vario-APO-Sonnar telephoto macro lens for the mobile imaging industry. The Vario-Sonnar integrates a compact optical lens design combined with APO certification, promising a substantial enhancement in the phone’s zoom quality and effective suppression of flare and ghosting.
The APO standard, recognized as the industry benchmark for evaluating chromatic aberration control in professional optical imaging equipment, signifies that certified lenses possess top-tier color correction capabilities.

This lens evolution by Vivo, introducing the innovative Vario-APO-Sonnar in the X100 Pro, signifies a leap forward in mobile photography, promising users a higher quality of zoom and exceptional image clarity, backed by the industry’s best in lens technology and design.
