As promised, Huawei today officially announced a new smartwatch – Huawei Watch GT Cyber, the first detachable smart movement, with two styles and six colorways, priced from 1288 yuan.
Huawei WATCH GT Cyber launches the industry’s first smart movement with a detachable design. Smart movement is a new species in the era of smartwatches, with an independent operating system and touchable screen, a built-in processor, chip, sensor, and rechargeable battery, and supports intelligent sports health monitoring functions.
The smart movement and the watch body, strap, and crown together make up a complete smartwatch, and by replacing the watch body, strap and crown, the smart movement has different play styles and possibilities.
Huawei WATCH GT Cyber is designed with the concept of being “born different, free and unrestrained” and is divided into two designs: functional and elegant, with six case colors and six built-in themes.
The functional model includes four colors: Obsidian Gold Black, Phantom Night Black, Dome Gray, and Morning Yellow, and introduces an urban functional design style in its appearance.
Compared to the functional model, the elegant model is available in two colors: Phantom Sea Blue and Moonlight White. The cushion-shaped watch body creates a niche artistic atmosphere, and the functional model is twin, creating a strong sense of contrast and presenting the versatility and possibilities of young people’s lives.
The case of the Elegant model is also made of 316L steel and a nano-microcrystalline ceramic bezel, which is tough and durable. The strap part of the flash change case, whether functional or elegant, is made of a new aviation-grade material – hydrogenated nitrile rubber, which is flexible and light, with good wear resistance, heat resistance, low-temperature resistance, and other advantages.
In addition, the Huawei WATCH GT Cyber is as tough as the watch. It has passed 16 military regulations tests and can easily navigate various urban and outdoor scenarios. It also supports 5ATM level water resistance for shallow water activities such as swimming pools or beachside swimming.
In terms of sports, the watch has 100+ rich sports modes, in addition to professional sports modes such as running, swimming, cycling and skiing, it also includes free sports modes such as street dance, boxing, skateboarding, and parkour, which are popular among young people, and supports five-star accurate GPS positioning to accurately record users’ sports tracks.
In terms of health, it is equipped with TruSeen 5.0+ technology, supports all-weather health monitoring, and adds intelligent sleep monitoring services.
