TCL premiered TCL 6.53-inch 110% NTSC LCD, 34″ 165Hz R1000 ultra-wide gaming screen, 27″ 480Hz R800 gaming screen, and 85″ 8K 120Hz IGZO 1G1D display at CITE2021.
According to the report from IT Home, yesterday, st ninth China Electronic Information Fair (CITE2021) was held in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. Where TCL showed the company’s newest product is a 6.53-inch 110% NTSC cell phone screen equipped with its own NTSC 110% ultra-high color gamut LCD technology.
At present, the common color gamut of LCD cell phone displays is sRGB (NTSC 70.8%), NTSC 85%, and DCI-P3 (NTSC 96%), while the color gamut of OLED cell phone displays is mostly between NTSC 100%-110%. TCL said that its research and development of NTSC 110% ultra-high color gamut LCD technology can effectively improve the product color gamut, to achieve a more pure and vivid color performance.

In March this year, TCL announced the launch of its research and development of NTSC 110% ultra-high color gamut LCD technology. According to reports, after continuous exploration by R & D personnel, clearly based on the existing backlight by changing the LED phosphor material structure, so that the green band peaks in the backlight spectrum to short wavelengths to move to a specific wavelength position.
At the same time adjust the proportion of pigments in the color film photoresist components, so that the color concentration is enhanced (conducive to photoresist film thickness reduction, enhance manufacturability), green photoresist through the spectrum peaks and backlight green band peaks matching; then by optimizing the panel design, adjust the white screen chromaticity. Finally, after repeated experiments to verify, and finally successfully developed the NTSC 110% ultra-high color gamut panel.
Besides the new LCD, TCL also presented the world’s first 34″ 165Hz R1000 ultra-wide gaming screen and 27″ 480Hz R800 gaming screen. TCL 34″ 165Hz R1000 ultra-wide gaming screen has 21:9 screen ratio and 3440×1440 resolution supports 165Hz high refresh rate and R1000 product curvature. The TCL 27″ 480Hz R800 gaming screen has a 480Hz ultra-high refresh rate and R800 ultra-curvature, and the HDR display breaks through to HDR1400.

Furthermore, TCL also showcased TCL 85″ 8K 120Hz IGZO 1G1D display is the world’s first 85″ 8K 120Hz 1G1D high-end LCD based on IGZO technology, which adopts 4mask IGZO backplane technology with a 4.5% penetration rate and 5000:1 contrast ratio.
