Twitter blogger, WalkingCat released images of an 85-inch Microsoft Surface Hub today, hinting that Microsoft still plans to launch the product this year. The schematic reveals the screen resolution of the new device, which, despite being 85 inches in size, is the only 4K, which may disappoint some people. Additionally, the new Surace Hub will be lighter and narrower and will support VESA 600 x 600 mounting, which means it may not support tiling and rotation.

New Microsoft surface count 85.6-inch pixelsense LCD display supports 4K and 60hz refresh rate, coated anti-glare strengthened glass. In terms of dimensions, height: 44.5-inch (1130 mm), width: 77.2-inch (1960 mm), depth: 3.4-inch (85 mm), bazel size: 32 mm and weights 85kg.

In February, Microsoft revised their Surface Hub roadmap, with the news that the new Surface Hub 2X project for Microsoft hardware may have been canceled due to an overall delay in the project as a development of the Windows Core OS system has not progressed as expected. Microsoft’s website has now also removed the initial promotional video for the Surface Hub 2, as well as any content that had anything to do with the Surface Hub 2X.
