This morning (January 23), LG released a 10 second warm-up video, announced that it will hold a pre-show of MWC 2019 in Barcelona on February 24th.
In the video, a white cloth/white paper is tiled on the tabletop, then the left hand is swung, and the words “Goodbye Touch” appear .
LG’s video seems to suggest that its upcoming new product will force the gesture/space operation UI and subvert the traditional screen touch experience.
Regarding the new machine that LG is about to bring, the rumor pointed out that it will be G8 ThinQ. The more exaggerated news is that the machine uses a dual-screen seamless stitching design, 3~4 inches after the hinge, and about 7 inches after the expansion.
