In an exciting announcement, the iQOO cell phone official released a series of posters and a promotional video, unveiling key details about the much-anticipated iQOO Neo9 Series. December 27th at 19:00 is set to be iQOO Neo9 Series release date and time.
The series comprises two versions: iQOO Neo9 and iQOO Neo9 Pro. iQOO Neo9 boasts the powerful combination of Snapdragon 8 Gen2 and Vivo’s self-developed Q1 gaming chip, while iQOO Neo9 Pro takes innovation a step further with Dimensity 9300 + Vivo’s Q1 gaming chip.
Jia Jindong, vice president of the brand and general manager of brand and product strategy at Vivo, expressed the significance of the Q1 gaming chip, highlighting its successful integration into the recently released iQOO 12 series and its continuation in the upcoming iQOO Neo9 series.
The preview video showcases the series’ aesthetics, featuring a striking red and white patchwork color scheme, along with options in blue and black.
Key specifications of the iQOO Neo9 include a 6.78-inch 1.5K+144Hz new-substrate straight screen, a 16MP front-facing lens, and a robust camera setup comprising a 50MP IMX920 OIS main camera + 8MP ultra-wide angle at the rear. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, it comes with 12/16GB of RAM, a 5160mAh battery, and an impressive 120W wired fast charging capability. The device also features a plastic center frame and a short-focus fingerprint sensor.
On the other hand, the iQOO Neo9 Pro is expected to offer a 6.78-inch 144Hz domestic straight display with a resolution of 2800×1260p, supporting high-frequency 2160Hz PWM dimming. The camera setup includes a 50MP IMX920 OIS main camera + 50MP JN1 ultra-wide angle. Powered by the Tenguet 9300 + in-house Q1 chip, it supports 120W flash charging and features a large battery, X-axis motor, IR remote, and NFC.
