OPPO Find X7 Series Super Light Shadow Image System
In a groundbreaking technology communication this afternoon, OPPO announced an innovative partnership with Hasselblad to develop the 2024 new generation super light shadow image system. This collaboration brings together OPPO’s expertise in the mobile industry and Hasselblad’s renowned legacy in the field of classic aesthetics and imaging technology.

At the heart of this venture is the establishment of a dedicated quantitative laboratory for image aesthetic characterization, marking a significant milestone in the pursuit of cutting-edge imaging solutions. The resulting super light shadow image system comprises three integral components:
- HyperTone Al Main Camera System: This system marks advancements in zoom magnification, providing users with enhanced creative freedom through multiple perspectives.
- HyperTone Image Engine: Leveraging advanced computation techniques to minimize traces of computation, this engine aims to elevate image quality and precision.
- HyperTone ProXDR Display: A photo display technology designed to optimize screen viewing, offering an unparalleled visual experience. (Media at bottom)
Specifically tailored for portrait photography, the Ultra Shadow Image Engine introduces a more three-dimensional quality to faces. Additionally, OPPO’s image lab has expanded its skin tone sample color blocks from 2 to an impressive 90 colors, ensuring a more accurate restoration of skin tone characteristics. The Natural Portrait Bokeh Engine further enhances the portrayal of depth by simulating optical bokeh through internal gradient adjustments.

The fruits of this collaboration will debut in the OPPO Find X7 series of smartphones, with plans for integration into future releases, including the OnePlus 12 series and the OPPO Reno11 series. This joint effort is set to revolutionize mobile imaging technology, promising users an unprecedented level of image quality and creative possibilities.
