Renowned entrepreneur Elon Musk made waves earlier with the establishment of his new venture, “xAI,” focusing on the advancement and research of artificial intelligence technology. Today, Musk proudly announced the inaugural creation from xAI: “Grok.”
Derived from the term meaning “to understand thoroughly and intuitively,” Grok is more than just an AI Assistant. It joins the league of similar technologies like OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Bard assistant but with a twist – a humorous personality.
Elon Musk described Grok as an AI with real-time access to information through the 𝕏 platform, setting it apart from other models. He humorously noted its penchant for sarcasm, playfully adding, “I have no idea who could have guided it this way.”
In a subsequent post on the X platform, Musk revealed that Grok would initially be available to recently added X Premium+ tier users after completing its early testing phase.
