Vivo Teases Game-Changing X100 Series
Vivo, in collaboration with MediaTek, is set to introduce its highly anticipated X100 Series smartphones, unleashing the powerful Dimensity 9300 chipset. Expected to be officially unveiled in November, these devices are geared to shake up the market, posing a significant challenge to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen3.
Among the highlights of the X100 Series is the incorporation of the innovative Zeiss optics. Vivo’s product manager teased the release, hinting at the inclusion of an extraordinary Zeiss APO lens, notably marking the introduction of a first-of-its-kind periscope telephoto lens with the Vario-APO-Sonner lens. The device is said to leverage advanced third-year algorithms, promising stunning photographic capabilities, leaving previous models like the X90Pro+ far behind.

The design cues were further unveiled through a line drawing shared by Digital Chat Station, showcasing a distinctive, round, centered camera module that is expected to house a quad-camera setup at the rear. The iconic ZEISS logo adorns the heart of this module, accompanied by a flash positioned in the upper right corner. At the front, a centered single-hole camera is anticipated.
In terms of aesthetics, the X100 and X100 Pro models are expected to debut in four color variants: white glass, black glass, blue glass, and an intriguing orange plain leather finish. All models are reported to feature 16GB LPDDR5T, with the top-tier variant boasting an impressive 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
The combination of MediaTek’s cutting-edge Dimensity 9300 processor, coupled with Zeiss optics and promising camera configurations, suggests a leap forward in smartphone technology and photography capabilities for the Vivo X100 Series. Anticipation mounts as the November 6 release date approaches, promising a new era of high-quality mobile experiences for consumers.
