Honor Magic 6 Pro First Look and AI-Powered Features
At the recent Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit, George Zhao, the CEO of Honor Terminal Limited Company, unveiled some exciting developments in the world of mobile technology. One of the most noteworthy revelations was that the upcoming Honor Magic 6 will feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform, accompanied by support for a staggering 7 billion parameters of AI on-device big models.
What makes Honor’s approach stand out is its emphasis on on-device AI models as opposed to traditional cloud-based solutions. This on-device AI model is designed to provide a more personalized and secure experience by focusing on personalized understanding and perception. Unlike cloud-based AI models, Honor’s approach keeps user data on the device, safeguarding personal information and ensuring privacy.
The Summit also showcased some of Honor’s end-side AI capabilities, including an AI video generator and the Magic Capsule. The Magic Capsule takes advantage of Qualcomm’s low-power capabilities and eye movement tracking technology to provide a unique user experience. For instance, it can display relevant information based on where a user is looking, making interaction more intuitive and user-friendly.
The MagicRing Trust Ring, another highlight of the event, takes integrated device management to the next level. It enables seamless communication between cameras, tablets, PCs, and other connected devices. With improved data transmission, stable signals, and reduced energy consumption, users can share high-definition smartphone camera content directly on their PCs and effortlessly drag and drop files across multiple devices.
In addition to these innovative features, the Honor Magic 6 Pro, as revealed in a video at the summit, will include a centered pill-shaped cut-out for the selfie camera, complete with 3D face recognition and eye-tracking sensors. Additionally, it can be seen that the device uses a quasi-right-angle metal middle frame and a four-curved screen design.
Overall, Honor’s commitment to personalized, secure AI and seamless cross-device experiences is setting a new standard in the smartphone industry. These announcements pave the way for a more intelligent, intuitive, and personalized future in mobile technology.
