OnePlus Open Official Renderings Leaked
In a surprising twist in the smartphone world, both OnePlus and OPPO about to unveil their new foldable flagship phones, sharing identical designs and specifications. While the OPPO Find N3 was leaked earlier, it is destined to be exclusively available in China, leaving OnePlus to introduce the OnePlus Open foldable phone to the global market.
OnePlus has already begun generating excitement for the OnePlus Open, which has now been officially confirmed to launch in the Indian market too, with a teaser hinting at its arrival “coming soon.” The wait won’t be long, as the OnePlus Open is scheduled to make its debut on October 19.
German media outlet Winfuture has now shared the OnePlus Open official renderings, revealing that its design mirrors that of the OPPO Find N3. One of the most distinctive features of both phones is the rear circular camera housing, a design element that might appeal to some and not to others.
In terms of specifications, the OnePlus Open packs a punch with a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. The camera setup is equally impressive, featuring a 48MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera. While the price has not been officially confirmed, it is expected to be around USD 1700, positioning the OnePlus Open as a high-end foldable smartphone offering.
With OnePlus gearing up to release its foldable device globally and in India, and OPPO targeting the Chinese market, smartphone enthusiasts worldwide will soon have the chance to experience these nearly identical foldable flagship devices. The choice between them may ultimately come down to personal preferences in design and the allure of OnePlus’ international availability.
