OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Official Now
This afternoon, OnePlus officially launched the OnePlus Ace2 Pro, the flagship device for the latter half of the year. The design follows the OnePlus 11 plan but with improvements in details and various parameter configurations.
The OnePlus Ace2 Pro features BOE’s new Q9+ screen, offering higher peak brightness and an improved outdoor experience. The flexible OLED hyperboloid display measures 6.74 inches with a resolution of 2772 × 1240p (1.5K) and a pixel density of 450 ppi. The default maximum brightness is 550nit, with excitation reaching 1200nit globally and a local peak maximum of 1600nit.
The screen boasts 1.07 billion colors (10bit), supports up to 120Hz (4 steps), and covers 100% DCI-P3 in vivid mode and 100% sRGB in natural mode. The contrast ratio is 2000000:1, and the touch sampling rate reaches 720Hz. Local HDR and HDR10+ are supported.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro rear camera setup includes three lenses:
- Main camera: 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with an f/1.88 aperture, 1μm pixel size, 1/1.56 inch photosensitive area, and OIS.
- Ultra-wide-angle camera: 8MP with a 112° FOV.
- Macro camera: 2MP for 4cm macro shots.
The front camera is 16MP with an f/2.4 aperture and EIS support. It can record 1080P/720P@30fps. The rear lens design resembles that of the OnePlus 11 and Ace2, but now with added metal rings for a more independent and high-end look.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro inherits image algorithms from the OPPO flagship series, offering improved noise control and software capabilities. It also features photon matrix display technology from OPPO, enhancing dynamic contrast and natural light/shadow representation.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor and comes with storage options ranging from 12GB + 256GB to 24GB + 1TB. RAM uses LPDDR5X, while ROM is UFS 4.0. Gaming enhancements include the “HyperBoost 2.0 Game Frame Stabilization Engine,” “Super Frame Super Graphics Engine,” and “Consonance Touch” for improved refresh rates, graphics, and touch controls.
Aerospace-grade “Tiangong Cooling System” ensures efficient heat dissipation, allowing the device to maintain peak performance. The 5000mAh battery supports 150W super flash charging, reaching 1% to 100% in just 17 minutes. The AAC Bionic vibration motor enhances tactile feedback.
Other features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, multi-function NFC, infrared remote control, and various audio codecs. The device weighs 210g and is 8.98mm thick, running ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro starts at 2999 yuan for the 12GB + 256GB version, 3399 yuan for 16GB + 512GB, and 3999 yuan for 24GB + 1TB. It will be available starting August 23. A special Genshin Impact gift box version with 16GB + 512GB storage is priced at 3599 yuan, available from August 30.
