iPhone 15 Pro with LIPO Technology
In the latest edition of the Power On newsletter, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman shares exciting revelations about the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple is set to reduce the bezel size from 2.2mm to a sleek 1.5mm, bringing the dream of a truly bezel-less iPhone one step closer to reality.
To achieve this impressive feat, Apple is incorporating low-pressure injection molding – LIPO technology, previously used on the Apple Watch Series 7. This technology successfully narrowed the bezel and increased the display size, and now, Apple plans to extend its application to the iPad as well.
The iPhone 14’s black bezel, currently on sale, is already at 2.22mm. Shrinking the bezel size further to 1.5mm will undoubtedly deliver a striking visual effect and elevate the overall user experience.
Alongside the reduced bezel, the Pro lineup will receive a fresh design upgrade. The fingerprint-prone stainless steel frame will be replaced with titanium, a stronger, lighter, and more premium metal. This change promises to enhance the device’s aesthetics and durability.
Under the hood, the iPhone 15 Pro models will adopt the advanced 3nm process for their processors, bringing about increased performance and efficiency gains. Additionally, the rear-facing camera will offer a wider range of optical zoom, enabling users to capture stunning photos and videos from various distances.
