Samsung Galaxy M44 5G Geekbench
In December 2020, Qualcomm made waves in the tech world with the announcement of its flagship Snapdragon 888 platform. Fast forward to 2023, and Samsung is still in possession of a substantial inventory of this chipset. However, the South Korean tech giant has devised an ingenious plan to make the most of this abundance.

Samsung is gearing up to release two new devices, the S-series FE module, and the Galaxy M44 mid-range phone, both powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. This strategic move aims to clear their inventory and provide users with affordable options that don’t compromise performance.
The first glimpse of the Galaxy M44 5G appeared in the Geekbench database under the model number SM-M446K. The device showcased its performance with a single-core score of 1531 points and a multi-core score of 3771 points.

Under the hood, the Galaxy M44 5G will boast the “Lahaina” processor, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 built with Samsung’s cutting-edge 5nm process. This chipset features one 2.84GHz ARM Cortex X1 core, three 2.4GHz Cortex A78 cores, and four energy-efficient 1.8GHz Cortex A55 cores. The graphics are handled by the Adreno 660 GPU. Notably, the Galaxy M44 5G will also be equipped with Qualcomm’s X60 5G baseband.
Accompanying the formidable chipset, the Galaxy M44 5G will come with 6GB of RAM, and users will be greeted with the latest Android 13 out of the box, offering the latest features and optimizations from Google.
The Galaxy M44 5G serves as a successor to the popular Galaxy M34 handset, promising users a significant upgrade in performance and capabilities without breaking the bank. This new addition to Samsung’s mid-range lineup aims to deliver flagship-like performance, bridging the gap between affordability and cutting-edge technology.
