Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Series
Samsung has once again pushed the boundaries of wearable technology with the launch of its highly anticipated Galaxy Watch6 Series. The new lineup, comprising the Galaxy Watch6 and the Galaxy Watch6 Classic, promises a host of exciting features that cater to both fitness enthusiasts and style-conscious individuals.

The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic has brought back the iconic rotating bezel, a much-loved feature adored by Samsung watch enthusiasts. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch6 boasts a range of improvements over its predecessor, the Watch5, and despite lacking the rotating bezel, it doesn’t compromise on any other essential features found in the Classic model.
Both models are available in two sizes, ensuring a perfect fit for every wrist. The Classic variant, slightly smaller than its predecessor, comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes, with the added benefit of a slightly larger screen due to its narrower bezel. On the other hand, the Watch6 Classic maintains the same screen size, but those opting for the rotating bezel can choose between sizes 43mm and 47mm.

A remarkable upgrade in the Galaxy Watch6 series is the inclusion of Super AMOLED screens with a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits and full-color Always-On Display (AOD) support, all protected by a sapphire crystal layer. Powered by the new Exynos W930 chipset, featuring an 18 percent increase in top frequency to 1.4 GHz, and backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, the new watches ensure smooth and efficient performance.
However, the most significant advancements lie in the software department. Equipped with a skin temperature sensor and a heart rate monitor, the Galaxy Watch6 series can provide detailed sleep analysis, revolutionizing the way users understand their sleep patterns. Samsung takes pride in being the only smartwatch to support a full health tracking suite, including ECG, heart rate and heart rate alerts, blood pressure, menstrual cycle prediction, and fall detection.

In addition to health-focused features, the Galaxy Watch6 series boasts a plethora of functionalities to enhance daily life. Supporting Samsung Wallet and acting as a remote camera shutter or phone locator with integrated maps, these watches are incredibly versatile. Thanks to Samsung’s version of WearOS, users also gain access to a wide array of Google and third-party apps.
With batteries ranging from 300mAh to 425mAh, the Galaxy Watch6 series ensures prolonged usage, lasting up to 30 hours with the Always-On Display enabled and an impressive 40 hours with it turned off. Additionally, the watches are IP68 certified, allowing them to be submerged up to 50 meters (5 ATM), and MIL-STD-810H compliant, offering robust durability for all adventures.
The OneUI 5 for Watch based on WearOS 4 takes the user experience to a whole new level. Offering personalized tips and detailed feedback every morning for improving sleep quality, the smartwatches measure total sleep time, sleep cycles, wakefulness, physical recovery, and mental recovery, resulting in a holistic approach to well-being.
Boasting an extensive array of sensors, including an accelerometer, barometer, body composition analysis, compass, ECG, GPS, gyroscope, heart rate sensor, light sensor, and temperature sensor, the Galaxy Watch6 series meticulously tracks user activities and workouts. The body composition analysis further measures various aspects of the user’s body, such as BMI, basal metabolic rate, body fat percentage, body water, and bone mass.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series caters to individual preferences with a range of colors, including Graphite, Silver, and Gold for the Galaxy Watch6, and Black and Silver for the Galaxy Watch6 Classic. With prices starting at USD 299 for the Galaxy Watch6 and USD 399 for the Galaxy Watch6 Classic, these smartwatches deliver exceptional value for their cutting-edge features.
