Turkish tech enthusiasts have reason to rejoice as Vivo has officially initiated the pre-launch preparations for its highly-anticipated V29 Series of smartphones. The series includes two beautiful models – the Vivo V29 and the Vivo V29 Pro, which are expected to set to launch soon in the global smartphone market.
The Vivo V29 Series is essentially the global version of the previously launched Vivo S17 Series, which made its debut in China in May of this year. A recent promotional video posted on Vivo Turkey’s official YouTube channel unveiled some exciting details about the upcoming phones.
The video showcased the striking back design of both the Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro, each featuring an identical yet distinct camera housing, hinting at the focus on photography prowess.
One of the key highlights of the Vivo V29 is its impressive 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz screen, promising smooth visuals and an immersive viewing experience. The device boasts a 50-megapixel front camera equipped with autofocus and OIS support.
On the rear, the V29 houses a 64-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to capture high-quality photos and videos. Powering the phone is a 4505mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, guaranteeing minimal downtime and swift recharging.
Not to be outdone, the Vivo V29 Pro shares many of the same features as its sibling. It also sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display. On the front, it flaunts a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with autofocus and optical stabilization.
The rear camera setup is more impressive, consisting of a versatile triple-camera combination, with 50-megapixel, 12-megapixel, and 8-megapixel sensors, all equipped with autofocus and optical stabilization for capturing stunning photos and videos. The V29 Pro is powered by a slightly larger 4600mAh battery, which also supports 80W fast charging. Both phones come pre-installed with the latest Android 13 and FunTouch OS 13, offering a seamless and user-friendly interface.
As of now, Vivo has not officially disclosed the launch date and pricing details for the V29 Series. However, speculations suggest that the series will likely debut at the end of this month or early next month, with Turkey being the first market to enjoy the new Vivo smartphones. Following its Turkish launch, the V29 Series is expected to make its way to other global markets.
