OnePlus, known for its flagship smartphones, is making headlines again with the upcoming OnePlus 12. High-definition renders of the device have started surfacing on the internet, indicating that the design is nearly finalized. Digital Chat Station, has now revealed the expected OnePlus 12 release date and some key specifications.
Compared to the OnePlus 11, which was released earlier this year, the OnePlus 12 is expected to make its debut ahead of schedule, possibly by about a month, towards the end of the year with Snapdragon 8 Gen3. The engineering model of the OnePlus 12 features a centrally placed single-hole LTPO curved display with a 2K resolution. It boasts a 50-megapixel primary rear camera along with an additional telephoto lens, differentiating it from the OnePlus 11, as depicted in the leaked renders.
In terms of charging capabilities, the OnePlus 12 offers two options: 100W or 150W. The device maintains its exclusive feature of a large-sized X-axis motor, which was previously seen only in the OnePlus 9 Pro. It was expected that this exclusivity would end after a year, but the OnePlus 12 continues to hold this distinction.
Regarding battery capacity, the OnePlus series is said to introduce new options, such as a combination of 150W fast charging with a 5500mAh battery.
