OnePlus Nord 3 and Nord CE 3 Introduction
OnePlus, the renowned smartphone manufacturer, has unveiled two new additions to its mid-range smartphone lineup in India—the OnePlus Nord 3 and OnePlus Nord CE 3. These devices demonstrate OnePlus’ commitment to offering high-quality smartphones at affordable prices.

Starting with the OnePlus Nord 3, device boasts a fresh design, featuring a right-angled center frame and back integrated with the camera module. The front bezel has been minimized, accommodating a centered front camera. Notably, the phone has a three-step Alert slider and is IP54 rated for dust and water resistance.
One of the major enhancements in the OnePlus Nord 3 is its display, which has been enlarged to 6.74 inches, offering FHD+ resolution and an impressive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The display is safeguarded by Dragontrail glass at the front and Gorilla Glass 5 at the back, ensuring durability.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Nord 3 is powered by the advanced 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, an improvement over its predecessor’s Dimensity 1300. This chipset delivers a significant boost in CPU and GPU performance, with OnePlus claiming a 43% increase in CPU performance and a 59% increase in GPU performance. The device is available in two memory configurations: 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Regarding the camera setup, the Nord 3 incorporates the same main camera hardware as the OnePlus 11 flagship model. It features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with optical stabilization, an f/1.9 aperture, and support for 4K 60fps video recording. Additionally, there’s an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 16-megapixel front camera for stunning selfies.
The OnePlus Nord 3 boasts a robust 5000mAh battery, larger than its predecessor’s 4500mAh capacity. It supports 80W fast charging and comes bundled with a charger. The phone runs on OxygenOS 13.1, based on Android 13, and OnePlus guarantees three major Android updates and four years of security updates.


The OnePlus Nord 3 will be available in two configurations: the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant priced at Rs. 33,999 and the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage variant priced at Rs. 37,999. Indian customers can purchase the Nord 3 in Misty Green and Tempest Gray colors starting from July 15.

OnePlus Nord CE 3
Meanwhile, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 is another appealing mid-range option offered by the company. It comes in Aqua Surge and Gray Shimmer color variants and will be available for purchase in August.

The Nord CE 3 features a 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels. It offers a 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display with adjustable refresh rates of 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz. The device supports sRGB, Display P3, 10-bit Color Depth, and HDR10+.
Similar to the Nord 3, the Nord CE 3 comes pre-installed with OxygenOS 13.1 based on Android 13. It is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 782G chipset and features an X-axis linear motor for improved haptic feedback. The device also boasts a 5000mAh battery with 80W fast charging capabilities.


The camera setup on the Nord CE 3 includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor as the main camera, with optical stabilization support. Additionally, it offers an 8MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 16MP front camera for capturing high-quality selfies. The Nord CE 3 also includes features like an IR transmitter for remote control functionality and NFC for convenient mobile payments.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 will be available in two memory configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, priced at 26,999 INR, and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, priced at 28,999 INR. Customers will have the opportunity to purchase the device starting in August.
