iQOO 11S Announcement
Today, iQOO has officially announced the release date of their upcoming flagship, the iQOO 11S, which is set to launch on July 4th at 19:00 local time. The company has emphasized that the iQOO 11S will surpass standard expectations and redefine what is considered standard in a smartphone.
Rumors had been circulating about the iQOO 11S being equipped with the first Qualcomm overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, after Samsung. However, new reports suggest that the iQOO 11S will feature the regular version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, commonly used by other devices, running at 3.2GHz.
Despite using the regular Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, the iQOO 11S is expected to deliver exceptional performance through advanced performance scheduling. It will be supported by an independent display chip, an impressive 24GB of RAM, and a large VC heat dissipation area for efficient cooling.

Moreover, the iQOO 11S will introduce several notable features. It will support 200W wired flash charging, utilize a new 10C ultra-thin pole cell battery, incorporate a new three-way charge pump chip, employ a new battery diaphragm and electrolyte, feature a new protection circuit, adopt a new stacking scheme, utilize new thermal gel, and utilize a self-developed battery health algorithm.
In terms of display, both the iQOO 11S and its predecessor, the iQOO 11, will be equipped with Samsung E6 flexible straight screens. These screens will support a 2K resolution (1440 x 3200), boast a refresh rate of 144Hz, and feature a rear IMX866 main camera with improvements.

Interestingly, the RedMagic 8S Pro has already been announced as the first device, aside from Samsung, to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor. However, RedMagic has not confirmed whether their device will include the overclocked version running at 3.36GHz. Nonetheless, AnTuTu Benchmark scores have already confirmed the impressive performance of the RedMagic 8S Pro.
Overall, the iQOO 11S is expected to offer enhanced performance and a range of exciting features despite using the regular Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor. With its powerful specifications and innovative technologies, the iQOO 11S aims to set a new standard in the flagship smartphone market.
