At the Huawei Summer Full-Scene New Conference, the tech giant unveiled its latest addition to the tablet market—the Huawei MatePad Air. Alongside a range of new smart gadgets, Huawei introduced the MatePad Air as a game-changer in the industry, boasting innovative features and cutting-edge technology.
One of the standout features of the Huawei MatePad Air is its first-of-its-kind 3:2 screen size. With an 11.5-inch 2.8K LCD screen, the tablet offers a spacious display for enhanced productivity. What sets it apart even further is its support for a remarkable 144Hz ultra-high refresh rate, making it the first tablet from Huawei to offer this feature. Additionally, the MatePad Air proudly holds the title of the world’s first HDR Vivid-certified tablet, ensuring stunning visuals and vivid colors.
Designed with style and elegance in mind, the MatePad Air is available in five appealing colorways: Feather Sand Purple, Wild Green, Star River Blue, Cloud White, and Obsidian Black. The tablet’s innovative frost design not only adds a touch of warmth but also makes it a stylish accessory.
Under the hood, the Huawei MatePad Air packs a powerful punch. Equipped with the Snapdragon 888 mobile processing platform and 8 layers of high thermal conductivity stone black cooling, the tablet delivers exceptional performance while maintaining optimal temperature levels.
The MatePad Air has a 13-megapixel (f/1.8 aperture, autofocus) camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel f/2.2 aperture, wide-angle on front. The built-in 8300mAh battery ensures up to 12 hours of local 1080P video playback, and with 40W fast charging support, users can quickly replenish the battery.
When it comes to applications, the MatePad Air offers a seamless experience. It supports the new PC application engine, featuring the exclusive PC-class WPS Office. To enhance productivity even further, Huawei provides a new split smart magnetic keyboard that pairs perfectly with the tablet. Moreover, the MatePad Air is the first tablet to come equipped with Huawei’s professional learning and research reading software, CAJViewer.
