Vivo X Fold2 Introduction
Vivo has recently launched its new flagship foldable smartphones, the Vivo X Fold2 and X Flip along with Vivo Pad 2 tablet, at a conference held on April 20, 2023. Here we will look at the most expensive Vivo X Fold2.

Vivo X Fold2 features a foldable design, similar to the last two generations, with an inner screen using Samsung E6 luminous material, which offers a resolution of 2160 × 1916 and a 4:3.55 golden ratio. The screen measures 8.03 inches when opened and supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 1800nit peak brightness, and 960Hz PWM dimming.
The external screen measures 6.53 inches and also uses Samsung E6 light-emitting material with 2520 × 1080 resolution and 1600nit peak brightness. Both screens support 3D ultrasonic fingerprint unlock.

The Vivo X Fold2 features a new ultra-durable lightweight hinge, which uses Vivo’s self-researched FS54 aerospace-grade material, making it stronger and lighter. The hinge has passed the 400,000 times folding test and features an upgraded water drop diameter of 5.0mm, making the bending diameter larger and the screen flatter.

The phone comes with a rear three-camera lens combination, including a 50-megapixel IMX866 main camera, f/1.75 aperture, OIS optical stabilization, and a size of 1/1.49 inches. The phone also features a 12-megapixel IMX663 ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.0 aperture and 108° ultra-wide-angle, and a 12-megapixel IMX663 professional portrait lens with 2X optical zoom, f/1.98 aperture, and size of 1/2.93 inches. The front lens is a 16MP camera with f/2.45 and 1/3 inch sizes. The camera system is powered by Vivo’s own ISP chip V2.

The phone is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen2 and features a 4800mAh battery that supports 120W dual-core flash charging and 50W wireless flash charging. It also has an ultra-wide and ultra-domain intelligent cooling system, all-scene NFC, Wi-Fi 7 & 5G, wireless lossless Hi-Fi, movie-grade stereo recording, large sound cavity symmetrical stereo, independent mute key, X-axis linear motor, 2558mm² VC liquid cooling, and nano thermal conductivity gel.

The Vivo X Fold2 focuses on lightweight design, and the phone is optimized for weight reduction and thinning, with a weight reduction of about 33g and thickness thinning of 2mm compared to the previous generation. The hinge parts have been reduced by 83, the hinge weight has been reduced by 30%, and the folding life has been increased by 33%. The phone is available in Red, Blue, and Black.

The Vivo X Fold2 is priced at 8999 yuan for the 12GB + 256GB version and 9999 yuan for the 12GB + 512GB version. With its advanced features and impressive specifications, the Vivo X Fold2 is set to be a popular choice among users looking for a high-end foldable smartphone.
