Meizu Foldable Phone with 200MP
Meizu recently launched its Meizu 20 series of new smartphones, which has received a positive response from customers. However, the company’s CEO Huang Quban had previously revealed that the company is working on a foldable display phone that is expected to launch at the end of this year. Digital Chat Station also hinted that the phone will feature a large bottom main camera, but the sensor to be used was not disclosed.

Today, WHYLAB, a renowned tech blogger, speculated that Meizu’s upcoming foldable display phone, tentatively called Meizu 20 Fold, will feature a Samsung ISOCELL HP1 sensor. This sensor is a 200-megapixel camera sensor, which is the highest resolution sensor currently available in the market.

WHYLAB’s report is based on the fact that Meizu has already tested this camera sensor in its camera app code for the Meizu 20 series. This suggests that Meizu is serious about using this sensor for its upcoming foldable phone. If this turns out to be true, Meizu 20 Fold will become the world’s first foldable phone with a 200-megapixel camera sensor, making it the strongest rear main camera foldable phone.
The Meizu 20 Fold is also expected to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen3 chipset from Qualcomm, which will provide users with lightning-fast performance and improved battery life. This chipset is designed to handle the most demanding apps and games, making it the perfect choice for a high-end foldable smartphone.
Meizu’s decision to launch a foldable display phone puts it in competition with other major players in the smartphone industry, such as Samsung and Huawei. However, if the company manages to deliver on its promise of a foldable phone with a 200-megapixel camera sensor, it could become a game-changer for the industry.
