Meizu 20 Infinity

In addition to Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro, with an extra surprise at a launch event in Shanghai, the Meizu 20 INFINITY Boundless Edition was introduced as a super flagship phone, representing the boundaryless aesthetic design of Meizu.

The phone features an Infinite Design language that has never been seen before in the industry, and Meizu hopes it will become a classic, like a technological artwork. The front of the phone boasts a 6.79-inch four-sided equal-width screen, which is the first four-sided equal-width screen phone in the industry. The screen is from BOE and is made of official Q9 material, with a resolution of 3192 × 1368p and a screen ratio of 21:9.

Meizu 20 Infinity Edition

The Meizu 20 INFINITY version is the first flagship phone to represent Meizu’s boundaryless aesthetic design, which the company claims are the ultimate body to explore boundaryless aesthetics with extreme technology. The screen also has a full-screen brightness of 1250 nits and a peak brightness of 1850 nits. It also has a touch sampling rate of 480Hz, supports a native 10Bit color depth display, and can do 1-120Hz refresh rate adaptive adjustment as it is an LTPO screen.

The quality of the screen is already high, but Meizu has gone a step further by equipping the front and back with the so-called cell phone universe “vibration gold” Meizu Titan glass. The middle frame is ultra-lightweight stainless steel, while the rear camera has a Unibody boundless sapphire lens. The phone comes in three colors: nebula green, star black, and space silver.

The titan glass used in the Meizu 20 INFINITY version is made of translucent lithium feldspar and has a hardness of HV722, which is higher than the super crystal porcelain HV706 used by other brands. The glass can withstand the impact of a 65g steel ball and has a bending strength of 1135Mpa, making it durable enough to say goodbye to the phone film.

The Meizu 20 INFINITY version’s rear camera features a 50-megapixel three-main camera humanities imaging system. The phone uses a crystal dome borderless mirror set, with each lens’s inner ring optical inlaying two pieces of sapphire. The specific lens parameters include a 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel super wide-angle lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, as well as a dual OIS optical stabilization system and full pixel dTOF assisted bi-dimensional focusing technology.

The front camera of the Meizu 20 INFINITY version is a 32-megapixel instant bionic lens with a “millisecond” focusing speed, surround microphone noise reduction, and first-generation symmetrical master symmetrical speakers.

In addition, the Meizu 20 INFINITY version features two-way sending and receiving satellite messages and is equipped with the self-developed Tianwen S1 chip, which is claimed to be the next generation of communication technology. The phone supports custom long text and voice, with domestic full coverage without dead ends. However, the feature still needs to wait for licensing before it can meet with users.

The Meizu 20 INFINITY version’s core performance platform is the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 combination, which is currently the strongest Android end platform. The price of the phone ranges from 6299 yuan to 8499 yuan, depending on the version. The 12GB + 512GB version and the 16GB + 1TB version are currently only available for reservation, and the sale date has not been announced yet.
