On March 23, 2023, Huawei held a product launch conference to officially release the P60 series of cell phones. The series has three models – the P60 Standard Edition, P60 Pro, and Huawei P60 Art Edition – each with its unique features and specifications.

Huawei P60 Series Introduction

Let’s take a look at the features of each model:

Huawei P60 Standard Edition

The P60 Standard Edition features a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2700 × 1220p and 1.07 billion colors. The P3 wide color gamut and support for 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and 300Hz touch sampling rate make for a superior visual experience.

The rear camera has a triple-lens combination with a 48MP primary camera (F1.4~F4.0 variable aperture, OIS optical stabilization), a 13MP super wide-angle camera (F2.2 aperture), and a 12MP periscopic telephoto camera (F3.4 aperture, OIS optical stabilization). The front lens is a 13MP super wide-angle camera (F2.4 aperture). The rear camera zoom mode supports 5x optical zoom (5x zoom is approximate, lens focal lengths are 24.5mm, 13mm, and 125mm) and 50x digital zoom.

The P60 Standard Edition is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 4G version and has a battery capacity of 4815mAh (typical value) that supports 50W Huawei wireless super-fast charging and wireless reverse charging.

The system is HarmonyOS 3.1, and it supports IP68 dust and water resistance. The P60 Standard Edition is available in four colorways, and prices are 128GB for 4488 yuan; 256GB for 4988 yuan; and 512GB for 5988 yuan.

Huawei P60 Pro

The P60 Pro’s screen size and parameters are the same as the standard version, but the P60 Pro has Huawei’s own Kunlun glass material, which provides superior hardness and wear resistance. The price of the P60 Pro is also more expensive due to this upgrade.

The rear camera of Huawei P60 Pro has a triple-lens combination with a 48-megapixel primary camera (F1.4~F4.0 variable aperture, OIS optical stabilization), 13-megapixel super wide-angle camera (F2.2 aperture), and a 48-megapixel night vision telephoto camera (F2.1 aperture, OIS optical stabilization). The front lens is a 13-megapixel super wide-angle camera (F2.4 aperture). The rear camera zoom mode supports 3.5x optical zoom (3.5x zoom is approximate, lens focal lengths are 24.5mm, 13mm, and 90mm), and 100x digital zoom.

The P60 Pro has a battery capacity of 4815mAh (typical value) that supports 88W wired fast charging and 50W Huawei wireless super-fast charging with wireless reverse charging. The system is HarmonyOS 3.1, and it supports IP68 dust and water resistance. The P60 Pro is available in four color options, and different versions of the P60 Pro are priced at 6988 yuan for 256GB and 7988 yuan for 512GB.

Huawei P60 Art Edition

The Huawei P60 Art Edition is a premium version of the P60 series, offering a unique design and upgraded camera and battery features. It shares the same screen size and system as the P60 Pro, which is a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2700 x 1220 and support for P3 wide color gamut and LTPO adaptive refresh rate.

However, the P60 Art Edition stands out with its artistic design on the back cover. In terms of camera features, the P60 Art Edition boasts an upgraded triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 48-megapixel primary camera with OIS optical stabilization, a 40-megapixel super wide-angle camera with an F2.2 aperture, and a 48-megapixel night vision telephoto camera with an F2.1 aperture and OIS optical stabilization.

On the front, there’s a 13-megapixel super wide-angle camera with an F2.4 aperture. Like the P60 Pro, the P60 Art Edition supports 3.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom, allowing users to capture stunning photos and videos from a distance.

Huawei P60 Art Edition Introduction

Another major upgrade in the P60 Art Edition is the battery capacity, which is 5100mAh (typical), offering longer battery life than the other two models in the series. It also supports 50W Huawei Wireless Super Fast Charging and wireless reverse charging, allowing users to charge their phones quickly and wirelessly.

The P60 Art Edition is available in two storage options: 512GB for 8988 yuan and 1TB for 10,988 yuan. Both models come with HarmonyOS 3.1, IP68 dust and water resistance, and the same Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 4G processor as the other models in the series.

Overall, the Huawei P60 Art Edition is a luxurious and innovative phone that combines cutting-edge technology with artistry and design. It offers an upgraded camera system, longer battery life, and a unique design that makes it stand out from other smartphones in the market.
