Xiaomi is known for its innovative and feature-packed smartphones that offer top-of-the-line performance and specifications at a reasonable price point. The latest buzz in the tech world is that Xiaomi is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, in April 2023.

According to the recent rumors, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to be the phone with the most stacked materials under Xiaomi’s banner. It is said to be equipped with a massive 1TB UFS 4.0 flash memory, making it the largest capacity Xiaomi phone till date (doubled than previous rumors). Additionally, the phone is rumored to feature 16GB of ultra-large memory, making it a powerhouse in terms of memory and storage.

The UFS 4.0 flash memory used in the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is said to be using powerful 176-layer 7th generation V-NAND, which offers a read speed of up to 4200MBps and data transfer speeds of up to 23.2Gbps via MIPI M-PHY 5.0. This is twice as fast as the UFS 3.1 specification used in many other smartphones.

In addition to the impressive read speed, the UFS 4.0 flash memory is said to offer a write speed of up to 2800MBps, which is 1.6 times faster than the UFS 3.1 specification. This means that users will be able to work, play and create without any constraints.

The energy efficiency of the UFS 4.0 specification is said to be 46% better than its predecessor, which translates to significant power savings even when the phone is running at high performance. The phone is expected to require only 1mA of power to drive sequential read speeds of 6.0Mbps, which is a testament to the cutting-edge technology used in the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

Apart from the massive memory and storage, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is also rumored to feature a 2K AMOLED curved screen, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen2 mobile platform, and Sony IMX989 1-inch mega-bottom main camera, making it a true imaging flagship.
