POCO, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, has launched its latest smartphone in India – the POCO X5 5G. The phone comes in two variants – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB, priced at INR 16,999 and INR 18,999 respectively. The POCO X5 5G boasts several features that make it a compelling option in the mid-range smartphone segment.

The POCO X5 5G has a 6.67” FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080p and a pixel density of 394 PPI. The screen also comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for gamers and those who consume a lot of multimedia content.
The peak brightness of 1200 nits and contrast ratio of 4500000:1 ensures that the display is bright and vivid, even in bright sunlight. Additionally, the phone’s color gamut covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space, offering a more immersive viewing experience.
