Game-Changer New Snapdragon Chipset – Snapdragon 7 Gen2
Qualcomm, one of the leading semiconductor manufacturers, has officially announced the launch of its new Snapdragon chipset. According to leaked information, the new Snapdragon chipset, known by its code name SM7475, will be built using TSMC’s 4nm process. It will feature a triple-cluster design, using Qualcomm’s Kryo Prime, Gold, and Silver core architectures. This design includes one Prime core, three Gold cores, and four Silver cores, with the Prime core being the most powerful.
The Snapdragon 7 Gen2, which is expected to be the basis for the new chipset, will feature a large core Arm Cortex-X2 with a maximum frequency of 2.95GHz. It will also have three large cores that are Cortex-A710 clocked at 2.5GHz and four small cores that are Cortex-A510 clocked at 1.8GHz. The GPU used in this chipset will be Adreno 725, with a speed of 580Hz.
