According to recent reports, the next Redmi Note series will feature OLED screens and on-screen fingerprint recognition, instead of the side-mounted fingerprint scanner found on the Redmi Note 12 Pro.
The use of OLED screens is becoming increasingly popular in the smartphone industry, with many mid-range and even low-end products now using OLED screens to provide better quality and performance than LCD screens. OLED screens offer greater advantages over LCD screens, including deeper blacks, higher contrast, and more vibrant colors, making them a better choice for consumers.
In addition to the new OLED screens, the next Redmi Note series is also expected to be powered by the latest processors. The Note11T Pro series from last year used the Dimensity 8100 processor, and this year, we could see the new Dimensity 8200 processor being used, along with the new Snapdragon 7 series. It is also possible that the next Redmi Note series will feature a Snapdragon 8+ processor, depending on the company’s strategy and the courage of Lu Weibing, the general manager of Redmi.
The Redmi Note series follows a half-yearly iteration strategy, meaning that new products are typically released in the first half of the year. So, we can expect the new Redmi Note series to debut in the first half of 2023. With the new OLED screens and powerful processors, the next Redmi Note series is expected to offer a better user experience and continue to be a popular choice among consumers.
