Samsung Galaxy S23 Series Specifications and Marketing Material
Samsung is set to release its latest flagship smartphone series, the Galaxy S23, on February 1st. The series includes three models: the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Today, Galaxy S23 Series specifications and marketing material for each model have been leaked ahead of the official release, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from Samsung’s latest offerings.
Starting with the Galaxy S23 will come with a 6.1-inch Infinity-O display that boasts a Full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 425ppi. The screen also features a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, which can adjust between 48Hz and 120Hz depending on the content being viewed. The display is also protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and has HDR 10+ certification.
The camera system is also worth mentioning, it’s a triple-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a 12MP wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree field of view, and a 10MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture, 3x optical zoom, and OIS. The front-facing camera is a 12MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and an 80-degree field of view.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S23 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 4nm high-frequency version, which should ensure speedy performance. The device will also come with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
The Galaxy S23 will be powered by a 3900mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging and 10W wireless charging. It will also come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The color options for the Galaxy S23 include Phantom Black, Botanic Green, Misty Lilac, and Cotton Flower.
Moving on to the Galaxy S23 Plus, it will have a slightly larger 6.6-inch display with the same resolution and refresh rate as the standard Galaxy S23, but with a slightly lower pixel density of 393ppi. The device will also be slightly heavier, weighing 195 grams.
The camera system will remain the same as the standard Galaxy S23, but the battery has been upgraded to a 4700mAh capacity and supports 45W wired charging and 10W wireless charging. The device will also have improved connectivity options, including support for WiFi 6E and UWB.
Lastly, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will come with a large 6.8-inch QHD+ display with a resolution of 3088 x 1440 pixels and a pixel density of 500ppi. The device will also be the heaviest of the three, weighing 233 grams.
The camera system will be the main highlight of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, it will feature a 200MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, OIS, and an 85-degree field of view, a 12MP wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree field of view, a 10MP telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom, f/2.4 aperture and a 36-degree field of view, and another 10MP telephoto lens with a 10x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.
The device will also be powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging and 10W wireless charging. It will come with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and either 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of internal storage.
