According to a report from Digital Chat Station, a model of the Xiaomi 14, the MDY-14-EC fast charging head, has been certified to support 20V 4.5A up to 90W fast charging, which will be equipped on the flagship model. This is a significant upgrade, as the standard version of the 67W fast charger will finally be upgraded.
The last big change in Xiaomi’s fast charging technology was in the Xiaomi 10 and Xiaomi 11 series, where it upgraded from 30W fast charging to 55W. Since then, it has remained at 67W fast charging.
