Huawei is set to launch its next-generation P60 series, which will feature a brand-new camera system. The P60 series is different from the Mate series, as it belongs to a more light and fashionable product line, with a more lively color scheme and a younger user base.

Recently, the Huawei P60 and P60 Pro passed through the Telecommunications Equipment Network access permit with model numbers LNA-AL00 and MNA-AL00. The devices are listed as “TD-LTE digital mobile phones”, which means they do not support 5G.

One of the major highlights of the new P60 series is the triple camera setup on the rear. The primary shooter is the IMX789, paired with the IMX858 ultra-wide-angle lens and the IMX351 5x telephoto lens. The P60 series will also feature a double-frame, large-bottom main camera, and a custom array design.

Additionally, the variable aperture design previously seen on the Huawei Mate50 series will be continued on the new P60 series. The maximum aperture of the new Huawei camera is F/1.4, which means that the night photography capability of the new P60 series is expected to be exceptional.

Other specifications of the P60 series include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series processor and a 4G version. However, as seen with the Huawei Mate50 series, even with only 4G support, the sales of the P60 series are not expected to be affected. Overall, the new P60 series is expected to be a powerful and feature-rich device, with a strong emphasis on camera performance.
