Moto X40 and Moto G53 Introduction
Today, not just OPPO hold a press conference to launch new products, but Motorola also launched a new smartphone on the mainland – the flagship Moto X40 is the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Gen2 phone, and Moto G53, is a low-budget phone.

First look at the Moto X40, it comes in two colorways, Black and Blue, and is said to feature a “12-variation Gaussian curvature” design with an aerospace aluminum center frame that is 8.59mm thick and weighs 197g.
The Motorola X40 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship chipset, LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.0 flash memory, and a large-cycle stereo cooling system 2.0.
One of the major highlights of the Motorola’s X40 is the IP68 dust and water resistance, and the official put the phone directly into the ice water at the launch event, supporting moto gestures and underwater video shooting.

The X40 features a 60MP front center-perforated lens, 50MP primary camera + 50MP super wide-angle/macro + 12MP portrait telephoto lens on the rear, support for high definition portrait mode, autofocus tracking, night mode, horizon-lock stabilization, 4K HDR10+ imaging system and 10bit color management.

As for the screen, it comes with a 6.7-inch 2400 × 1080p OLED dual-curved display with 165Hz high refresh rate, 1 billion colors, SGS dual eye protection certification, HEV 4.92% ultra-low blue light ratio, full DC dimming anti-screen flash, and on-screen fingerprint recognition.
The X40 has a 4600mAh battery, supports 125W wired fast charging + 15W wireless charging + 15W reverse charging, and is equipped with five full-optimal signal enhancement technologies with full-band coverage.
In terms of software, Moto X40 is equipped with MYUI 5.0, which is claimed to have “Intuitive Interaction +”, improving the appearance, interaction, underlying, security, and other aspects.

Moto G53
As an entry-level phone from Motorola, Moto G53’s pricing is starting from 899 yuan for the 4GB + 128GB version, and 8GB + 128GB is priced at 1099 yuan. With this price, Moto G53 offers Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G chipset built using an 8nm LPP process.
Moto G53 uses a 6.5-inch LCD screen with 720 × 1600p resolution, supporting 60Hz/90Hz/120Hz three-step refresh rate. In addition, the machine’s rear has 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens, a front 8-megapixel selfie lens, another built-in 5000mAh battery, and support 10W charging.
