Today, MIUI released the latest warm-up regarding MIUI 14 photon engine. The official said that it will improve from the source, deep Linux kernel optimization, and mainstream third-party apps one by one.
In other words, MIUI 14 will not only be smoother in system-level operations but the experience of using third-party apps can also be significantly improved. The official data is that the smoothness of third-party APPs can be improved by 88%, and power consumption can also be saved by 16%.
To become the lightest and smoothest system, Xiaomi will start the Razor Plan in MIUI 14, first cutting three knives to create a super pure system with “the smallest firmware, the smallest memory consumption, and the least uninstallable applications”.
This includes streamlining the system firmware by 23% compared to the previous generation and reducing the number of uninstallable pre-installed applications to 8.
Today Xiaomi officials also said that MIUI 14 in the desktop design to re-layout, with multi-variable large icons, you can customize the size of icons and widgets, so that the desktop looks more colorful.
