Honor MagicOS 7 New Features Highlights

Honor MagicOS 7 has comprehensively upgraded the software system architecture, aiming to create a seamless cross-device collaboration, cross-application seamless flow of convergence ecological experience, bringing comprehensive upgrades in four major areas: smart connectivity, smart services, smooth performance, and privacy and security.

According to the official introduction of Honor, MagicOS 7.0 has a MagicRing trust ring, Magic Live wisdom engine, Turbo X system engine, MagicGuard security four platform-level root technology, and system core services.

Among them, MagicRing provides cross-system level device interconnection technology, provides self-discovery and self-grouping connection capability for multiple devices by fusing location-aware technology, and realizes the industry’s first cell phone\Pad \PC keypad sharing, which allows cross-device office and notification/call cross-screen flow with the identification of the owner.

Magic Live wisdom engine achieves multi-scene, multi-dimensional, and multi-intent scene awareness and intent understanding through multi-intent combination recommendation, multi-scene geo-fencing generalization, and multi-dimensional fast learning, which simply means that AI can predict the owner’s behavior and thus make prior reminders.

The Turbo X system engine consists of OS Turbo X, GPU Turbo X, and LINK Turbo X. OS Turbo X can improve the speed of application launching in multiple scenarios through AI pre-loading technology, and provide an accurate supply of resources for applications through the learning of scene perception and user understanding.

GPU Turbo X enables a higher frame rate and lower power consumption gaming experience with its scene recognition-based AI graphics rendering engine and scene load-based intelligent scheduling.

LINK Turbo X predicts and identifies network jams in advance by sensing application features, accessing network features environmental features, and user habit learning to bring users a high-quality communication solution experience.

MagicGuard security protection system from the lowest layer of Honor’s self-research security storage chip, to a self-research dual TEE OS, a trusted system to protect the user’s data information. Honor also announced the installation of a bank U shield into the phone, supporting a single personal transfer of up to 5 million yuan.

In other aspects, MagicOS 7.0 takes “Flow” as the core of design, upgrading the Bezier curve to an elastic curve, making the visual focus more arbitrary, while launching HONOR Sans font, through spacing optimization, making the layout more neat and clear.

MagicOS 7.0 will open the upgrade of old models one after another from December, and the first public tests will be opened in December this year, including Honor Magic V, Magic3 Supreme Edition, Magic3 Pro, Magic3, and V40.
