OPPO Will Land Commercial 240W SuperVOOC
Recently, Digital Chat Station revealed that OPPO will land commercial 240W SuperVOOC charging technology in Q1 next year, which will be the industry’s highest fast charging power charging technology, called “unprecedented”.

Eight months ago, at MWC2022, OPPO demonstrated this leading flash charging technology to the public. According to the introduction, OPPO 240W SuperVOOC charging using a more universal USB-C charger, the output parameters of 24V/10A, by two charge pumps directly to the output of the dual-string battery pack.
After entering the phone, the power is converted into 10V/24A for high-voltage direct charging through the charge pump, and the new generation of battery cells supports higher multiplier charging, with a single cell current of up to 12A. With the 240W SuperVOOC Charge, a phone with an equivalent 4500mAh battery capacity can be charged to 100% in 9 minutes. (Note: Redmi Note12 Pro+ is 4300mAh, 210W charging power, 100% in 9 minutes.)
In terms of safety, OPPO customized the USB-C connector with lower impedance to further reduce contact resistance and use a thicker core to allow high-current high-power transmission. The E-Marker encryption chip is also set inside the terminal, and the encryption algorithm eliminates security risks such as hacked firmware.
Officially, 240W super flash charging from the power adapter, wire, and five layers of security on the cell phone terminal, the phone is equipped with 13 temperature sensors, and a specially customized intelligent control chip full line voltage control and flow control temperature, providing a full range of security.
Currently, OPPO belongs to the OPPO/Realme/OnePlus system and has been commercially available for 150W flash charging, the relevant models are Realme GT Neo3, OnePlus Ace, OnePlus Ace Pro, etc., 240W flash charging technology may be applied to the above-mentioned models on the iteration version.
