Huawei’s New Online 3D Real-world Map
On the afternoon of November 4, Huawei Developer Conference was held as scheduled. At the conference, Huawei Managing Director and Terminal BG CEO, Yu Chengdong announced that Huawei’s new online 3D real-world map, which can achieve real-world reconstruction rendering, users can experience when they open Petal travel.
Yu Chengdong said that Huawei can build a 5km² ultra-fine digital world in just 30 minutes through 2,500 photos, with centimeter-level refinement to restore the details of the building. Moreover, the 3D real-world map can also achieve high-precision restoration of indoor real-world scenes.
At the same time, Huawei has also developed its own “Hi-Mesh” layer network rendering acceleration technology to achieve real-time rendering of the super large-scale digital world, which can not only show real-time changes in sunlight and shadow but also simulate rain and snow and other weather effects. “The experience is very stunning!” said, Yu Chengdong.

It is reported that Huawei Petal travels public beta version was opened online in September this year. The phone upgraded to HarmonyOS 3 also supports the dynamic presentation of taxi task information in the service card, such as the estimated waiting time, trip information, order status, etc. Users can grasp the relevant information in real-time on the desktop card.
