Qualcomm and MediaTek Announce New Flagship Core Schedule
Today, Qualcomm announced that the Snapdragon Technology Summit will be held in Hawaii on 15-17 November, when the much-anticipated Snapdragon 8 Gen2 flagship platform will be officially unveiled.

At the same time, MediaTek also stepped forward and announced the Dimensity Flagship Core launch schedule – November 8 at 14:30. “Dimensity Flagship Core” How to define the next-generation new flagship benchmark? According to the news, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 uses TSMC’s 4nm process and consists of one mega-core, four large cores, and three small cores, with the mega-core main frequency reaching 3.36GHz and the small core main frequency being 2.02GHz.
Specifically, the mega-core is Cortex X3, and there are four large cores, including two Cortex A715 and two Cortex A710, the small core is Cortex A510, and the GPU is Adreno 740.
MediaTek Dimensity 9200 is against Snapdragon 8 Gen2. Dimensity 9200 biggest change is the CPU part was replaced with the latest Cortex-X3 mega-core. With the new GPU, MediaTek surpassed Apple’s latest A16 Bionic chipset, in terms of GPU performance.
As usual, after the release of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2, Xiaomi 13 Series, Moto X40, and Vivo X90 Series will be officially announced. While one of the Vivo X90 Series models is expected to carry Dimensity 9200.
