Samsung W23 Series Flagship Phones Launch
Since the first launch of the “Heart of the World” W699 in 2008 in cooperation with China Telecom, Samsung has been launching this Series of high-end deeply customized flagship phones at the rate of one generation per year. After the release of the new Galaxy Z Fold, the Samsung W Series has been revamped with the foldable display flagship.
Today, Ice Universe released a poster for this year’s “Heart of the World” W23 Series. According to the information given in the poster, the W23 Series will be officially released at 19:00 on the evening of October 21.

From the information previously exposed, this year’s Samsung W23 Series will be divided into two models, the W23 and W23 Flip. Among them, the W23 is based on the horizontal foldable Galaxy Z Fold 4 custom upgrade, while the W23 Flip is a vertical foldable Galaxy Z Flip 4 custom upgrade.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is the first smartphone to debut with Android 12L, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor. It features a 6.2-inch OLED screen as the outer screen with a resolution of 2316 × 904p, supporting a 120Hz variable refresh rate; the inner screen is 7.6 inches with a resolution of 2176 × 1812p, also supporting a 120Hz variable refresh rate.
According to the configuration of the W series, it generally uses the top 12GB + 1TB or even higher 16GB of RAM, and includes the S Pen complementary.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4, on the other hand, is more compact, also powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor. It comes standard with 8GB of RAM, features a 6.7-inch 2640 × 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate main screen and a 1.9-inch 260 × 512p resolutions external screen, and comes with a 3,700mAh battery.
