Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro Official Now
On the evening of October 6, at Google’s “Made by Google” product launch, Google brought the new Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro along with the first Google Pixel Watch. Here is the introduction of the new flagship.
Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro Price in India start from INR 59,999 for 8GB + 128GB for standard version, and Pro version priced for INR 84,999 for 12GB + 128GB version. In addition, as a launch offer, Google offers free Pixel Buds with Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch with Pixel 7 Pro (Depending on the Market).
Google Pixel 7 will available in Snow, Obsidian, and brand new Lemongrass and Pixel 7 Pro will available in Snow, Obsidian, and a new Hazel color schemes. And is open for pre-order today in Google stores in 17 countries, and will be officially available for sale on October 13.
In terms of display, the Google Pixel 7 Pro features a 6.7-inch Quad-HD+ resolution 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED screen with LTPO technology, which can go up to 10Hz in certain scenarios, while the base version has a 6.3-inch screen with 90Hz refresh rate FHD+ resolution only.
In terms of imaging, both Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro packs a 50MP main camera (82° FOV, f/1.85), a 12MP (114°, f/2.2) ultra-wide angle (the Pixel 7 Pro also supports autofocus), and an 11.1MP (f/2.2) front camera with 4K video recording. The Pixel 7 Pro version comes with an additional 48MP telephoto lens (f/3.5) with 5x optical zoom, which is the only difference compared to the standard version.
Camera features include macro mode with the ultra wide-angle camera, as well as 30x high-resolution zoom and 8x high-resolution zoom. In addition, both phones support features such as RealTone and Movie Motion Blur.
At the core, the Pixel 7 Series is equipped with a Tensor G2 chipset with slightly improved performance over its predecessor. It is built on a 4nm process with 3 cluster design that includes a Tensor Processing Unit for machine learning and a Titan M2 security co-processor.
Other features include LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage, with 4355 mAh and 5000 mAh battery capacity for Pixel 7 and Pixel Pro respectively, and support for 21W wired and 20W wireless charging, 23W wired fast charging, and 20W+ wireless charging, respectively. The Series also supports an under-screen fingerprint scanner and IP68 water resistance.
Google Pixel 7 Series comes pre-installed with Android 13, which comes with Material You and dynamic color theme upgrades, which were introduced in Android 12 last year. Improvements include a Security and Privacy menu that incorporates device and account settings. Other highlights include an improved photo selector, language controls for individual apps, and much more.
