Honor Pad X8 and Honor X40
On the evening of September 15, Honor officially unveiled Honor X40 and Honor Pad X8. Among them, Honor X40 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor based on 6nm process, 8MP camera on the front and 50MP + 2MP dual camera on the rear, and runs Magic UI 6.1 system based on Android 12.
Honor X40 is available for pre-order now and will be available for sale on September 23. In terms of pricing, 6GB + 128GB priced at 1499 yuan, 8GB + 128GB priced at 1699 yuan, 8GB + 256GB priced at 1999 yuan, 12GB + 256GB priced at 2299 yuan.
The Honor X40 features a 6.67-inch 2400 × 1080 OLED centered single-hole curved screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 0.65mm secondary reinforced glass, 1 billion color display, 800nit global excitation brightness, 1920Hz PWM high-frequency dimming, TUV Rheinland hardware-grade low blue light eye protection, and under-screen fingerprint.
The Honor X40 is with 5100mAh battery. With a thickness of 7.9 mm and weight of 172 grams, the X40 has a two-day charge and supports 40W super fast charging. The Honor X40 also brings upgrades in performance, audio, smart connectivity, and security.
The official introduction said that the performance experience, up to 12GB + 7GB of intelligent memory expansion, bringing equivalent 19GB of memory experience; anti-aging test is still smooth after 36 months of use; omnidirectional antenna design, different 5G antenna signal complement each other; through the performance, camera and communication module from the application layer to the bottom of the full link optimization, but also make the phone faster.
Honor Tablet X8 is equipped with 10.1-inch eye protection full screen, an aluminum alloy thin body, and an exclusive education center. 4GB + 128GB priced at 1199 yuan, 6GB + 128GB first sale discount price of 1299 yuan.
Honor Pad X8 adopts MediaTek G80 chipset, with a 10.1-inch 16:10 IPS screen, 1920 × 1200 resolution, up to 80% screen-to-body ratio, and sharp screen technology, which can adjust the dynamic range of the screen adaptively.
The Pad X8 is as thin as 7.55mm and as light as 460g. Honor Pad X8 features 1620 dual large amplitude speakers with a 2.2cc large sound chamber and supports Honor Histen sound.
Pad X8 supports a smart multi-window and application split screen, which allows one to open multiple applications on the same screen and open two task windows at the same time. Support e-book mode, intelligent adjustment of contrast, brightness, color temperature, and many other parameters.
Honor Pad X8 has a 2-megapixel camera on the front and a 5-megapixel camera on the back. The battery capacity is 5100mAh, the USB Type-C interface, and the body size is 240.2 × 159 × 7.55mm (thick). Supports Bluetooth 5.1 protocol, and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and does not support a 3.5mm headphone jack.
