Lenovo Legion official said that Lenovo consumer ecology falls new product launch is scheduled for August 18, in which Legion Y70 formal flagship, Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022, ZUI 14, Legion Gamepad, and Legion VR700 will be unveiled in this launch.

As launch time approaches, Lenovo frequently warming up these new gadgets, and today announced the Legion Y70 cooling system, which covers the largest heat generating area while exceeding the industry average thickness.

According to the official reveal, the Legion Y70 will be equipped with a 5047m㎡ large VC, with a thickness of 0.55mm, far exceeding the industry average thickness. In addition, the Legion Y70 uses a ten-layer cooling architecture, with a total cooling area of 36938m㎡.

As a comparison, Lenovo released the Legion Y90 in February this year, VC average thermal plate area of 3520m㎡; iQOO 10 Pro VC area of 3930m㎡; Realme GT2 Master Explorer Edition has a total thermal area of 37904m㎡.

The front of the machine uses a 6.67-inch center punch AMOLED straight screen, the middle frame is made of metal, using CNC precision engraving technology to build, the whole thickness of only 7.99mm, is currently the thinnest Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset phone.

In terms of Legion Y70 display specifications, Lenovo also detailed information earlier. Legion Y70 uses a center punch screen, 6.67-inch OLED flexible straight screen, FHD+ resolution, 144Hz multi-grade adjustable refresh rate, global DC dimming, AOR as low as 0.65%, support HDR10+ Dolby Vision, with SSG low blue light / low trailing shadow certification. With Smart Refresh Rate 2.0 it can adjust the refresh rate to five steps: 48, 60, 90, 120, and 144Hz depending on the scenes.

In addition, Lenovo also shared Legion Gamepad’s appearance. It supports Bluetooth connectivity for interactions, equipped with a joystick and dual keys, ZUI devices can be adapted with one key. When the Legion Y70 will be released, the handle accessory is expected to better match the Y70 phone.
