Xiaomi 12S Series Exclusively in Mainland China
On July 4th, Xiaomi held a Xiaomi 12S Series press conference, and officially released the Xiaomi 12S, 12S Pro, and 12S Ultra in cooperation with Leica. After the launch, Android Authority said Xiaomi told them in an email in response to questions about global availability: “Xiaomi will offer Xiaomi 12S Series exclusively in Mainland China.”
This means that the Xiaomi 12S series will not be available for global release. But Xiaomi also mentioned that the future cooperation with Leica will not be limited to the 12S Series, but this cooperation will be extended to the global product line.
Interestingly, the Android Authority also believes that Xiaomi may rename the 12S Series and then release it to the global market.
