Vivo S15 Series Official Now
On the evening of May 19, Vivo held a press conference, officially bringing the long-awaited Vivo S15 series of new machines. Released this evening a total of two versions of the S15 series, the S15 standard version, and the S15 Pro, but there is an S15e model, which was released at the launch of the Vivo X80 series, under the same series.
Vivo S15 series is said to be the strongest configuration generation ever, S15 Pro front with a 6.56-inch Samsung E5 light-emitting material 120Hz dual-curved centered hole-hole screen, resolution of 2376 × 1080, contrast ratio of 8000000:1, local peak brightness of 1500nit, screen color support 100% P3 wide color gamut, there is also the 300Hz touch sampling rate and 1000Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate. In addition, this screen also obtained HDR10+ certification, SGS eye protection certification, etc.
Camera configuration, Vivo S15 Pro uses a triple camera-lens combination, the main camera lens is a 50-megapixel Sony custom IMX766V, using Sony’s exclusive custom ultra-transparent filter, 1/1.56-inch sensor, 1-micron single pixel size, ƒ/1.88 aperture.
The camera features support Hummingbird super anti-shake, full pixel omnidirectional focus, hardware-grade HDR, etc., in addition to a 12-megapixel super-wide-angle macro lens and a 2-megapixel black-and-white lens; the front-facing lens is a 32-megapixel, 1/2.8-inch sensor with ƒ/2.45 aperture and support for AF autofocus.
The core processor, Vivo S15 Pro is MediaTek Dimensity 8100 platform, a very popular processor this year. In addition to Dimensity 8100, Vivo also added an independent display chip Pro for the machine, which can bring the game insert frame and other experiences.
The Vivo S15 Pro has a battery capacity of 4500mAh, supports 80W dual-cell flash charging, and supports Rheinland safety fast charging certification, and the factory system is OriginOS Ocean based on Android 12.0.

The machine has a total of two colorways to choose from, blooming summer and dazzling black, body thickness of 8.5mm, the weight of 188g, belongs to a relatively thin and light one too.
Vivo S15 Pro price announced for 8GB + 256GB storage version is 3399 yuan, and 12GB RAM + 256GB onboard storage version priced at 3699 yuan.
The standard version Vivo S15 this upgrade is also larger, the overall design of the machine and the Vivo S15 Pro version are similar, only the part of the phone bezel from the curved change to the right angle bezel, more adapted to the offline market.
The front of the Vivo S15 uses a 6.62-inch Samsung E4 light-emitting material AMOLED centered single-hole straight screen, 2400 x 1080 resolution, supports 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate, instant touch sampling rate of 1200Hz, screen color also supports 100% P3 wide color gamut, 6000000:1 contrast ratio, and 1300nit local peak brightness. Like the Pro version, the Vivo S15 Standard Edition screen is also HDR10+ and SGS Eye Protection certified.
The camera system, Vivo S15 is also a combination of three camera lenses, but the configuration is different from the Pro version, the standard version of the S15 main camera is a 64-megapixel lens, 1/1.72-inch sensor, f/1.89 aperture, support 0IS optical stabilization, the other two lenses are 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and 2-megapixel macro lens. The front lens is a 32-megapixel ultra-clear selfie lens with a 1/2.8-inch sensor and f/2.0 aperture.
On the core processor, Vivo S15 is using Snapdragon 870 Enhanced Edition. Vivo S15 is exclusively customized with this SoC called Snapdragon 870 Enhanced Edition, and with Vivo’s own VMET memory enhancement technology and gaming-grade cooling system, which can make Snapdragon 870 can be further improved.
The standard version Vivo S15 battery capacity is also 4500mAh, but the charging is slightly reduced to 66W flash charging, and the factory system is also based on Android 12.0 developed by OriginOS Ocean.
The standard version of the Vivo S15 comes in three colorways, Summer, Flare Black, and Light Gold, with a bodyweight of 197g (Flare Black/Light Gold) and 198g (Summer) for the different colorways.
Vivo S15 price is 2699 yuan for the 8GB RAM + 128GB onboard storage version, 2999 yuan for the 8GB + 256GB onboard storage version and 3299 yuan for the 12GB + 256GB storage version.
