Sony LinkBuds S Introduction
Sony has now launched its latest TWS headphones – LinkBuds S and has opened for sale, selling for about $199.99 in the US. LinkBuds S is a more traditional headset, without the LinkBuds kind of open-loop design.
As Sony’s lightest in-ear noise-canceling headphones, LinkBuds S headphones weigh about 4.8g in a single ear, using the shape of the ear cavity that can be adapted to most users, as well as skin-friendly, high-friction materials and the structure of the center of gravity in the design. Available in white and black models, with a beige version available exclusively from Best Buy.
The LinkBuds S supports ambient sound mode and Sony’s high-quality LDAC Bluetooth codec. LinkBuds S can be worn all day long to connect your digital life to the sound of reality.
Meanwhile, LinkBuds S features AI adaptive sound control, which automatically detects the user’s activity status and location when turned on, identifies places such as the office, gym, or store frequented, and automatically switches between preset ambient sound and noise reduction solutions, as well as the ability to manually switch between 20 levels of ambient sound.
LinkBuds S features Sony’s newly developed 5mm audio driver with a highly compatible diaphragm that helps maintain LinkBuds S’s low-frequency bass drive. It also integrates Sony’s V1 processor, which improves noise reduction, enhances sound performance, and reduces distortion.
With ANC on, it has a battery life of 6 hours, and up to 20 hours when including the charging case. It also supports fast charging, taking only 5 minutes to achieve 60 minutes of listening time.
Sony LinkBuds S also support IPX4 waterproof rating. It carries out Sony’s “environmental consciousness” by using recycled plastic itself, and no plastic was ever used in the packaging.
