Samsung Exynos 1280 Specifications
Today, Samsung Exynos 1280 was officially launched which is already used on Samsung’s mid-range smartphones Galaxy M53, Galaxy A53, and Galaxy A33.

Exynos 1280 is built using a 5nm EUV process. The CPU packs two performance cores of Arm Cortex A78 with a clock speed of 2.4GHz coupled with six energy-efficient core A55 with a clock speed of 2.0GHz and GPU integrated Mali-G68. With an independent NPU AI computing unit, fixed-point computing performance of 4.3TOPs.
Other aspects, ISP support up to 108 megapixels, 4K 30P video recording, baseband support 5G Sub 6GHz and millimeter-wave band, downlink up to 2.55Gbps, Wi-Fi support only to 802.11ac, Bluetooth support to 5.2, can bring FHD resolution 120Hz refresh rate screen, LPDDR4X memory, and UFS 2.2 flash memory.

As for the positioning, Exynos 1280 look like an entry-level SoC that failed to provide current expectations of Wi-Fi 6 capabilities, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage support.
